Apologies! I've been neglecting DA since I started cegep this week... not even because I have a lot of work, just because I wanted to use it as an excuse to slack off a bit XD I'll have a more elaborate account later, but this is about the picture.
This is Steph! She is half of the Hajimemashite Duo in a story I've been thinking of. The story started with me doing a silly sketch of one guy, and it all just escalated into creating many little 'groups'. The world the people live in in this manga is a little bizarre; everybody seems pretty normal (as normal as everyday life is???), but outside of school almost everyone has an alter ego... the girls in the Hajimemashite Duo dress up sort of like Geisha (I didn't feel like being all that accurate and researching...), and go around doing... unladylike things? XD If you've read Memoirs of a Geisha, you'll know what having your obi tied in the front means (yes, it's supposed to resemble an obi...). I'll elaborate more on the story and this character when I post the sketches.

With a multitude of journals which are thought provoking, funny and resourceful, it's impossible not to be touched by such a bright light in our community. Congratulati... Read More
